REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

COMMUNITY CATALYST PROJECTS SUPPORTING LOCAL CHILDREN

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generous support of the community, our Kiwanis club (Lindenwald Kiwanis of Hamilton/Fairfield) is fortunate to have additional funds available this year. In keeping with our long‑standing mission to improve the lives of children in our local community, we are inviting organizations to submit proposals for a catalyst project that aligns with our core focus areas and creates meaningful, measurable impact for young people.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Our local chapter has proudly carried that mission forward since 1953, providing both financial and volunteer support to programs that help children thrive. While every community has unique needs, our work consistently centers on fighting hunger, improving literacy and educational opportunity, promoting personal safety, and supporting pathways to lifelong success.

We are seeking proposals from organizations that share these priorities and have a vision for a project that could be significantly strengthened — or made possible — through a Kiwanis partnership. Ideal proposals will outline a clear need, describe the children who will benefit, and demonstrate how the project will create lasting, positive change. Funding may support new initiatives or expand existing programs, as long as the project directly serves children in our community and aligns with our mission.

This is an opportunity for local organizations to think boldly and creatively about what could be achieved with a catalyst investment and a committed community partner. We look forward to reviewing proposals and identifying projects that will help us continue building brighter futures for the children we serve.

Organizations interested in applying should submit their proposal no later than April 30th, 2026 using the form below:
